Great ambience, fair prices and good food

The dishes are delicious and the service is good even during the Corona crisis. "ToGo" dishes are offered. Sometimes there are also cakes and coffee "ToGo '" the area around and the Maisentalstüble invites you to hike or relax. The Urach waterfall is nearby. There is a connection to public transport

Delicious food after the hike.

No card payment possible and not enough cash - a solution found anyway! Super cool, you rarely find that. 10/10 would recommend. Great food, great beer garden.

Unfortunately a bit disappointed with the food. The schnitzel probably has some additives ... in any case, after several hours it is still heavy in our stomachs ... So be careful with sensitive stomachs. The currywurst from my friend was unfortunately rather tasteless, probably no curry sauce of its own, a shame. Corona rules are only complied with to a very limited extent. Pros, the beer and the weather were good.

Corona rules were not implemented during our visit. No list to enter, tables were neither assigned nor wiped, tablets were briefly wiped with a napkin after use, which was then also used for wiping the food counter area. A cheek to the many restaurants that implement the rules with a lot of effort and expense. We're not coming any more.

Ate indoors, food was freshly made and really tasty. Any time....

A good honest schnitzel again for a long time. The side salad is also very good. Were in the beer garden and will definitely come back to try the other dishes.

In itself a nice place to have a beer after a hike. In the beer garden there is self-service for drinks and food. We didn't eat anything so I can't rate that. The food of the others looked quite good, at least visually 😅 The whole is only optically a bit old, therefore only 3 stars.

Great location and extent, Self-Service, fair prices, big potion of foods but rather like Bayerischen Express. For lunch we ordered Käse Spätzle and Maul Taschen with potato salad, unfortunately the foods were taste like finished products that being sold in the supermarkets. But be honest, people would be definitely stomach fulled for those who don’t mind much about the quality of what may offer.

Large portions, the possibility of charging an e-bike. Very friendly staff and boss ;-)

There is fast, solid Swabian cuisine here. Especially recommended after a hike to the waterfalls. Located directly at the Maisental car park. Also delicious Meckatzer. What more do you want?

After a long hike, the plan was to have something to eat in this beer garden. We got it right away, as nobody was at the checkout counter. Another quick look at the menu. After we knew what we wanted, we were not allowed to place our order, but should queue up again. We went back and found a great place in Bad Urach. We suspect the waitress prefers white customers.

Enjoy your meal. Unfortunately with self-service. Tip: during the week you get a good place! ;)

Beer garden at the foot of the Urach waterfalls. Is right next to the parking lot. The schnitzel is recommended.

We visited the Maisentalstüble during winter, it was a wonderfully snowy walk to the venue. The outdoor decor was magical with fairy lights hanging. The food was filling, warm and delicious. Don’t think I’ve ever seen a meal so big, the schnitzel was enormous! You definitely get more then you pay for 😁😁🙃 The atmosphere was relaxing and warming. Service was professional and friendly. Highly recommend a meal here and some schnapps 😋 Thank you
